Lowry: It’s my honor to surpass Bosh in the team history scoring list

According to the Raptors official website, although it regrets losing to the Atlanta Hawks, there is still one thing to celebrate for Kyle Lowry-with 17 points this game, Lowry surpassed the team star Chris Poe. He even rose to second place in team history in scoring.

“It is an honour to be able to surpass a Hall of Fame candidate. Chris Bosh has made a great contribution to this team, and we must pay tribute to him here,” Lowry said. “This is me. It’s great to be able to surpass a great player like Chris, something that I’ve never thought of and never tried to do before.”

Currently ranked ahead of Lowry only old teammate Demar DeRozan who scored 13,296 points. However, he ranks first in team history in assists (4155), three-pointers (1473), steals (862), triple-doubles (16) and wins (361 wins).

“I think when he first came here eight years ago, no one would believe that he could achieve these historical scoring milestones,” said Raptors coach Nick Nastan when talking about Lowry’s achievements, “to his determination, He created his unique style, excellent shooting and evergreen career tribute. Lowry tried his best on the court every night, looking for ways to put the basketball into the basket, night after night, for so many years. This is undoubtedly an amazing achievement for him.”
